A man escaped with an undisclosed amount of money after holding up a Bank of America branch, sheriff’s deputies said Tuesday.
Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson said a man dressed in a sports jacket walked up to a teller and demanded money shortly after 3 p.m. Monday. The man stuck his hand in his pocket to simulate possession of a weapon, was given cash and fled, Olson said.
The bank, at 23831 El Toro Road, is a few hundred feet from the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5.
The robber was described as about 30 years old, with brown hair, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark sports jacket with a blue and red tie.
