3,000 Books to Be Given to Children March 20

More than 3,000 books will be distributed to elementary-age children in El Monte and South El Monte at the annual Fiesta of Books from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 20 at the El Monte Community Center, 3130 N. Tyler Ave. The event is sponsored by the El Monte/South El Monte Coordinating Council. Funds for the books come from individuals and organizations.
