COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE : Mechanical-Dinosaur Maker to Combine Facilities in Irvine

Dinosaurs are big business these days.
Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park,” based on the Michael Crichton novel about out-of-control dinosaurs at an amusement park, is among the most eagerly anticipated films of the year.
So if you want a dinosaur of your own, you need look no further than Dinamation International Corp. in Irvine. The company, which makes mechanical dinosaurs for museums, recently announced that it will combine its two Tustin manufacturing sites into a 66,000-square-foot facility in the Irvine Business Complex at 14352 Franklin Ave.
The five-year lease, which was brokered by Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach and South County offices, is valued at $1.3 million.
Incidentally, the dinosaurs costs $30,000 to $40,000 each.
