Father Charged in Death, Sex Assault, 4 Injuries

ZION, Ill. — A man fatally shot his 11-year-old daughter, sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl and wounded three other children and his ex-wife before surrendering to authorities.
Tyrone Watson, 33, was charged Sunday with murder, attempted murder and sexual assault, police said. He had been under a court order prohibiting him from approaching his ex-wife, Stacey Watson, 29, or their children.
Stacey Watson chased him away from her house early Sunday, but he returned a few hours later and went from room to room shooting and stabbing, police said. He walked into a courtroom in nearby Waukegan three hours later and turned himself in, police said.
