Local Winners: Gregory Jefferson, a 16-year-old flutist from Pasadena, won the $10,000 Grand Prize in the 1993 General Motors and Seventeen magazine National Concerto Competition at Interlochen, Mich. Finalists in addition to Jefferson, a junior at the Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts, include cellist Felix Fan, 17, of La Jolla and pianist Julia Rozenfeld, 17, from San Francisco.
