LONDON — A bank has admitted it made a British businessman a millionaire for a day--and charged him the equivalent of 7 cents for the blunder.
Robert Coleman, 45, an office manager from Rochester, England, found he had been credited with $1.53 million on March 8 on the receipt of his National Westminster Bank statement.

Coleman’s account was left just $83 in the black.
“The extra five pence was transferred in error and will be rectified,” the bank said.
