Kristine Quance dominated the 400-meter individual medley from wire to wire to win in 4 minutes, 42.08 seconds and Olympian Eric Namesnik held off Marcel Wouda to win the men’s 400 individual medley in 4:17.13 in the National Swimming Championships at Nashville, Tenn.
Quance’s time was the fifth-best for an American in the 400 IM and the 13th best in the world. It is the fastest time in the event this year.
