Petrominerals Picks Chief Executive

Eugene L. Butler has been appointed president and chief executive of Petrominerals Corp., a crude-oil and natural-gas company in Tustin. He will also serve on the board of directors. Since 1991, Butler has been chairman of Black Warrior Wireline Corp., an oil field service and wireline-related business in Mississippi. Before that, he was president and chief executive of Weatherford International Inc., a manufacturer of specialized oil field tools and equipment and provider of technical oil field services.
