Prudential Plans to Hire 850 in Western Region

Prudential Insurance Co. of America’s western marketing headquarters in Woodland Hills is planning to hire 850 new sales representatives in its western region, including 45 in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County.
None of the agents will be at the Woodland Hills office, but they will be spread out at sales offices around the region. Prudential expects to complete the hiring by the end of the year.
The western region stretches as far east as Missouri and includes Hawaii and Alaska.
Prudential, the nation’s largest insurer, said the agents are being added in an effort to sell more policies for life, home and auto insurance and investment products.
