Dogs With Hang-Ups to Undergo Analysis

STOCKHOLM — Does your dog bit, bark constantly and generally act like a hound form Hell? Maybe it needs a session with an analyst.
For the first time in Scandinavia, 350 experts will gather in central Sweden later this year for a two-day conference on “problem dogs.”
“We believe in a more holistic view on dogs,” psychologist and “problem dog consultant” Anders Hallgren said in announcing the conference Friday.
“The relationship between dog and master is special . . . the feelings people have for their dogs are the same as parents have for their children,” he said.
