Sports Figures Will Take Part in Youth Summit

U.S. National soccer team Coach Marcello Balboa, Dodger bullpen coach Mark Cresse, Angel Director of Community Relations Darrell Miller, former Ram quarterback Vince Ferragamo, and KTLA’s Ed Arnold are among those who will take part in Saturday’s All Orange County Youth Athletic Summit at El Modena High School.
The summit, sponsored by the U.S. Youth Athletic Network in Orange, will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to those aged 5 through high school age, their parents, coaches and community leaders.
Balboa will be accompanied by members of the U.S. team, which is training in Mission Viejo for the World Cup. Also participating in the workshops and autograph sessions will be members of the American Professional Soccer League’s Salsa, the U.S. Gymnastic Training Center, the Vic Braden Tennis College, the Rams, the Orange County Sports Assn., and Dan Patin of Prime Ticket and OCN’s Rick Mielke.
