WHAT I MEANT WAS . . . The head of the San Fernando Valley NAACP says he talked politics with L.A. City Council candidate Richard Alarcon, but that doesn’t mean he endorsed him . . . Alarcon said twice this week that Zedar E. Broadous was in his camp. That’s not the way Broadous remembers it (B1), adding: “I guess you have to be careful about your verbiage when you talk to people in politics.”
