Southern California Business Development Corp. announced the appointment of Richard P. (Mac) McNish as president. SCBDC is an outgrowth of the Los Angeles Community Reinvestment Committee, formed in 1990, to address unmet credit needs in South Cental Los Angeles.
McNish, 48, previously worked for the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency as project manager for the Watts Redevelopment area until 1992, when he joined Rebuild L.A. as project manager.
