ANAHEIM — A man was shot and killed Saturday during a barroom brawl with several other men, police said.
The victim, whose name and age were not released, was hit once in the chest about 1:45 a.m. at the Los Alazanas bar at 2171 West Lincoln Ave. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
“The victim was involved in an altercation with several other subjects” when one of them shot him with a handgun, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Thomas Lahmon.
After the shooting, the unidentified gunman fled the bar on foot and remains at large, Lahmon said.
The sergeant said homicide detectives were investigating. Lahmon said he did not know what caused the argument.
