WHITE KNIGHT: OK, so Assemblyman Pete Knight apologized for offending Latinos. But columnist Scott Harris says that hardly settles things. Content aside, the anti-immigrant poem Knight passed around last week also flunks the style test. . . . Time was when xenophobia inspired better verse. With such wretched poetry, no wonder many fret that conservative America is losing “the culture war,” says Harris. . . . Knight plans to explain all at a meeting today with his Antelope Valley constituents at the Palmdale Cultural Center (B1).
