Chatsworth Posts 4-1 Win Over Sylmar

Chatsworth High scored three runs against Sylmar relievers in the seventh inning and beat the Spartans, 4-1, in a City Section 4-A Division quarterfinal Thursday at Sylmar.
Sophomore Harry Kenoi pitched a six-hitter, sending the Chancellors into a semifinal game against West Valley League rival Taft on Tuesday at a site to be determined.
Kenoi (6-1) walked three and struck out two.
The Chancellors (21-7) scored one run and seven hits against starter Carlos Velazco in the first six innings.
Sylmar brought in John Bohman (8-4) and Chatsworth loaded the bases, scoring two runs on a single by Brandon Murphy and another on a wild pitch. Robert Madrigal finished the inning for Sylmar (20-8).
