CHICAGO — Not content to rest on its McMuffins, McDonald’s Corp. is testing something called McStuffins.
Being served at three locations on a trial basis, the new product is described as French bread stuffed with a variety of fillings.
The company also is holding “very preliminary” tests of fried chicken in Cleveland, New York City and Norfolk, Va., as a possible addition to its menu, officials said.
McStuffins are being tested in Raleigh, N.C., Erie, Penn., and Texas, officials said.
McDonald’s is also testing restaurants in Wal-Mart stores and in grocery stores in the Chicago area.
