Lutheran Brotherhood recently honored Joan Whalen of Orange for five years of service as a Fraternal Unit Adviser. She is a consultant to 19 branches of community volunteer service groups made up of Brotherhood members.
Through its programs, the Lutheran Brotherhood gives aid to its members, the community and Lutheran congregations. During the past 10 years, the Brotherhood has contributed $300 million to various programs. Information: (612) 340-8774.
