GM Raising Saturn Prices: The auto maker said it will increase prices on the 1994 models by an average of 3.5%, nearly twice the rate for the rest of its line of cars and trucks. The move comes despite criticism from Labor Secretary Robert Reich of manufacturers who raise prices rather than using favorable foreign exchange rates to take market share from overseas competition.
