Cultural Grant Forms Available

Grant application and guideline forms are now available from the Cultural Affairs Department for 1994-95 Cultural Grants. Workshops to help individual artists and organizations apply for arts grants start Monday and continue at various locations through Aug. 14.
This year’s grants program includes two changes: The Artist-in-the-Community Program will limit artists to three consecutive years of grant funding, after which they must wait one year to reapply. Additionally, the visual arts category will include a new Grants for Independent Curators program that will fund as many as five projects/exhibitions for the 1994-95 fiscal year.
The grant application deadline is Sept. 3.
