‘Star Trek’s’ Mr. Chekov Undergoes Heart Surgery

EVANSTON, Ill. — Walter Koenig, who played Ensign Pavel Chekov in the “Star Trek” television series and movies, was in serious condition Saturday after heart surgery. Koenig, 56, underwent surgery Friday night at St. Francis Hospital.
