THOUSAND OAKS : Deputy Injured in Traffic Accident

A Ventura County sheriff’s deputy responding to a traffic collision in Thousand Oaks suffered minor injuries when his patrol car was struck by another vehicle.
Deputy Scott Miller, 45, of Thousand Oaks was treated at Los Robles Regional Medical Center emergency room and released.
Miller’s patrol car was hit by a vehicle driven by Jennifer Bush, 18, of Simi Valley about noon Wednesday at the intersection of Sunset Hills Boulevard and Olsen Road.
Bush told investigators that she was trying to avoid some debris in the road and when she looked up, the patrol car in front of her had stopped. Bush was not injured and there was no damage estimate available, officials said.
