HUNT FOR DREAM NOVEMBER? Movie star Alec Baldwin, whose credits include “Hunt for Red October,” told people at a Washington fund-raiser that he wants to run for Congress--not from Los Angeles, where he has a home, but from Long Island, where he grew up. Baldwin, a Democrat who’s big on animal rights, was standing around with a bunch of liberals as they bashed Clinton. Though a Clinton fan himself, he was heard to say: “I just love this” chatter. “In Hollywood, they just criticize studio people.” . . . Baldwin’s publicist, Lisa Kasteler, said she hasn’t spoken to him about his political plans.
