Summit Brass Set for Bowl Concert

Summit Brass, the 16-member ensemble appearing at Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday, will play music by Handel, Leonard Bernstein, Plog, Thomas Stevens, Cheetham and Stratton at its 8:30 p.m. concert.
The guest soloist, trumpeter Doc Severinsen will play “A Gershwin Fantasy” by Frank Montooth, as well as Five Episodes by Allen Vizzutti and Jeff Tysik. Carl Topilow conducts the group.
