Liberty Christian 38, L.A. Lutheran 32--The Lions scored on a 15-yard pass from Justin Obacz to Jeff Vaughan with 44 seconds to play, but Liberty Christian marched 45 yards and scored with 12 seconds left on Carl Warmack’s 20-yard pass to Dave Vaccaro at L.A. Lutheran.
Vaughan rushed for 135 yards and five touchdowns in 23 carries. Obacz rushed for 82 yards and threw two touchdown passes.
