Valdivia’s Offense Sparks CSUN in Soccer

Armando Valdivia scored a goal and had an assist to boost the Cal State Northridge men’s soccer team to a 2-0 nonconference victory over Loyola Marymount on Tuesday at Loyola’s Sullivan Field.
Valdivia scored 34 minutes 9 seconds into the game on a pass from Raja Hawa for CSUN (5-3). Matthew Davis scored at 71:20 with an assist by Valdivia.
Northridge goalkeeper Mark Macdonald made five saves.
