BOOTH ART: Talk about attention to detail. After months of squabbling, the San Joaquin Hills tollway board will meet in special session today to decide only one issue. That’s whether toll booths will be built Mediterranean style, with stucco and red tile, or with the glass ultramodern look. . . . The tollway is scheduled to open in the spring of 1997. Board chairman Pat Bates of Laguna Niguel favors the glass booths, after getting assurance they were just as safe as the other style: “I don’t think there’s enough votes for Mediterranean. It’s a mission hut with a canopy.”
