ANAHEIM : Officials Will Serve--as Waiters at Benefit

City Council members and several top city administrators will be the waiters at a benefit dinner Thursday for the “Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim” program.
Mayor Tom Daly, Councilmen Frank Feldhaus, Fred Hunter, Irv Pickler and Bob D. Simpson, City Manager James D. Ruth and Fire Chief Jeff Bowman will be among the waiters at the $75-a-plate gala at Yves Bistro, 30 S. Anaheim Blvd. Cocktails are at 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7.
The meal will be a five-course dinner and will include wine.
Each spring, Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim refurbishes the exteriors of about 40 homes owned by low-income, elderly and disabled Anaheim residents. The work is done by volunteers, and the money raised will be used to buy supplies.
