Jacob Funk rushed 28 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns to lead Village Christian High to a 21-0 Alpha League win over Marshall Fundamental on Saturday at Kennedy High.
After a scoreless first quarter, Funk scampered one yard for a score early in the second quarter to cap a nine-play, 80-yard drive. He scored from four yards in the third quarter.
Quarterback Mike Spielman gave the Crusaders (5-1, 1-0 in league play) a 14-0 lead on a three-yard run with two seconds left in the first half.
