Entrepreneur Spirit: Entrepreneur Group, the Irvine-based publisher of Entrepreneur Magazine, has created a vice president-general manager position and has hired Neil Perlman to fill it.
Perlman most recently worked as senior vice president and group publisher at Cahners Publishing Co. in New York. He said Entrepreneur is looking into adding some products: an on-line database service, publication on CD-ROM and an expanded line of how-to manuals for entrepreneurs.
Also, Entrepreneur Group recently began organizing expositions for entrepreneurs across the nation. One is planned for Atlanta next month, Perlman said, and five are scheduled for 1994.
“It’s an exciting time to be here,” he said.
