Myles Probably Will Miss CSUN Football Game

NORTHRIDGE — Victor Myles, defensive captain of the Cal State Northridge football team, probably will miss Saturday night’s nonconference game against Chico State at North Campus Stadium after attending the funeral of his father earlier that day, Coach Bob Burt said Tuesday.
Myles, a defensive tackle, also suffered an Achilles’ tendon injury in last week’s game at UC Davis.
“I think he could probably play physically, but I don’t know about emotionally,” Burt said. “We’re not planning to have him available.”
Myles, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound senior, did not practice on Tuesday and he might be out all week, Burt said.
