BOOM! When Bill and Kathie Gray of Laguna Beach finally got to their home on Tahiti Avenue on Friday, there was a message scrawled on the front window: “This home was saved by the Brea Fire Department.” . . . First, the Grays sent the firefighters a huge box of Mrs. Fields cookies. Then, over the weekend, they bought them a stereo--”a big CD boombox for the station,” Kathie Gray says. “We didn’t know what to buy them. But we wanted to thank them.”
