Canoga Park 23, North Hollywood 20--Defensive back Rogelio Sanchez intercepted a desperation pass by North Hollywood quarterback Alvaro Castillo with 21 seconds left to preserve the win for the host Hunters (2-6-1, 2-3-1).
Canoga Park had taken a 23-13 lead in the fourth quarter when John Carlsen connected with Joey Edington on a 21-yard scoring pass. Carlsen completed 11 of 26 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
North Hollywood (4-5, 2-4) closed to 23-20 on Damien Foster’s 12-yard scoring run halfway through the fourth quarter. Foster had 42 yards in eight carries.
