Aerospace Engineers Should Teach
Repeated studies show a great need for qualified math and science teachers in our public schools. It is stated that only 60% have formal science education.
Why not utilize unemployed aerospace engineers who have an ideal education and practical experience in physics, science, math and other exacting disciplines? Aerospace engineers with a baccalaureate degree should apply to California school districts as substitute instructors until credentialed.
The precise requirements for aerospace math and physics more than qualify these highly skilled men and women to teach students these subjects.
Let’s use this great talent in public schools nationwide.
