Assemblyman Jack O’Connell, who has decided to run for a state Senate seat next year, will be holding “card table office hours” at the corner of California and Main streets in downtown Ventura from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
No appointment is necessary. The hours will be rescheduled in the event of rain.
O’Connell, a Carpinteria Democrat, represents the 35th Assembly District, which runs from Santa Paula west to Ventura and north to Ojai, and includes all of Santa Barbara County. The state Senate District also encompasses this area and stretches north into San Luis Obispo County.
For more information, call the district office at 641-1500.
