‘Gypsy’ Benefit at Film Academy

A Nov. 30 screening of “Gypsy,” starring Bette Midler, will benefit the AIDS support groups Search Alliance and L.A. Shanti Foundation. The TV movie of the Broadway musical will debut on CBS Dec. 12.
The 7:30 p.m. benefit is at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, 8949 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills. Information: (213) 962-8197.
