Course in 3D Studio Set at CityWalk

UCLA Extension offers two new courses, “Computer Animation and Storyboarding With 3D Studio: Parts I and II” beginning Jan. 8 at the UCLA Extension Center on Universal CityWalk in Universal City.
The courses are meant to be taken concurrently and are aimed at professionals in the animation, videography and motion picture industries. The course teaches the use of 3D Studio Release 3, which can be used for film-quality animations as well as pre-visualization, or “electronic storyboarding.”
Part I begins Jan. 8 and concentrates on the fundamentals of the program; Part II begins Feb. 19 and focuses on the use of 3D Studio for pre-visualization. The two courses cost $495 and $545, respectively; combined tuition is $995.
