Re Jack Mathews’ article about “Sesame Street,” “Counting to 25” (TV Times, Nov. 21): This year is the 25th ... be it season, birthday, annual, or Sesame bowl. Mr. Mathews can’t count, nor can he spell. It’s Furry Arms Hotel, not Fuzzy Arms Apts. Hey Jack, watch “Sesame Street.” It may help.

To Be or Not to Be P.C.
I am writing this in hopes that someone there will realize there are plenty of people who do not agree with the “politically correct” television we have today.
Regarding the letter by someone in L.A. (TV Times, Nov. 14) whining about Don Rickles’ remarks on his new show (“Daddy Dearest,” Fox) ... back off. I’ve watched “In Living Color” on Fox run skit after skit depicting whites as “dumb hicks” and “Def Comedy Jam” making joke after joke against whites. If “In Living Color” can make fun of the Reginald Denny case, then I feel Rickles has every right to make his remarks.
