Countywide : Christmas Trees to Be Collected, Recycled
- Share via
Taormina Industries, a trash hauling company, will collect and recycle Christmas trees in the seven cities the company serves between Dec. 26 and Jan. 7.
Residents of Anaheim, Brea, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Villa Park and the Garden Grove Sanitary District may leave their Christmas trees for curbside collection. All types and sizes will be accepted, including flocked trees.
Tree stands, decorations and tinsel must be removed. Trees that are more than six feet tall must be cut in half.
Those who do not have curbside collection may bring their Christmas trees to the CVT Public Recycling Center, 1131 N. Blue Gum St., Anaheim.
Residents may drop off the trees Sunday through Jan. 7 at no charge. Proof of residency is required.
Taormina Industries officials said the trees will be recycled into mulch that will be used for landscaping. For more information, call (714) 238-3300.
