Paramount to Test Interactive TV Game Show: Paramount Stations Group said it will begin a one-week trial of an interactive television game show during the week of Dec. 27 on four of its stations. Paramount, a unit of entertainment giant Paramount Communications Inc., said it will broadcast the half-hour show called “Video Game Challenge” in Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and Washington, D.C. In the show, home viewers play popular video games, using their telephone key pads, against the studio audience. A similar program has been airing successfully in Europe for two years, Paramount said.
