For an evening of old-time Western entertainment, Wild Bill’s Wild West Dinner Extravaganza offers a look back into the 1800s and how the West was fun.
At Wild Bill’s, guests are treated to a two-hour show featuring a cast of Native Americans, Western-themed variety acts, foot-stompin’ music and a rope trick artist.
The attraction is on Beach Boulevard along the city’s entertainment corridor, which also features Movieland Wax Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and Knott’s Berry Farm.
Tourists and local residents wander in for a historical night of entertainment, said general manager Marilyn Hannes.
“The fun thing about night life is you can come here with children,” Hannes said. “It’s very family-oriented entertainment, but it’s also a great option for people looking for an evening opportunity for a date.”
The dinner theater, which seats 850 people, is in its third year, Hannes said.
Included in the ticket price is a four-course meal of Western-style grub.
During January, nighttime shows begin at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $29.95 for adults on weeknights and $31.95 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Children’s tickets are $19.95 for any night.
