Cornerback Jason Sehorn, USC’s interception leader with six, has a painful right shoulder and won’t be at full strength Thursday night in the Freedom Bowl game against Utah at Anaheim Stadium.
“It’s not a life-threatening injury, so he can go in and cover someone if we need him to,” Coach John Robinson said.

Robinson, on the switch of sophomore tailback Scott Fields to strong safety: “He’s looked good. He got into two fights the first day. He’ll play there in certain parts of the game Thursday.”
