Ventura police are searching for a robbery suspect who held up a pizza delivery business wearing a black trench coat, pink gloves and a blue handkerchief tied over his face.
The manager of Domino’s Pizza on Thompson Boulevard told police that he was working inside the store about 6 p.m. Monday when he heard a dog barking outside the rear door. When the manager opened the door to look outside, a man armed with a small, silver-colored revolver confronted him and gestured for the manager to fill a bank bag with cash.
After the manager complied, the robber forced him into the walk-in freezer and piled several items in front of the door. The manager escaped about 30 minutes later and flagged down a passing police officer.
The manager described the suspect as a white male of medium build with severe acne on his forehead.
