VENTURA : Man Loses Control of of Motorcycle, Dies

A Ventura man died early Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle while traveling on old Pacific Coast Highway near Rincon Beach, authorities said.
Brian L. Dunn, 22, was traveling north when he drifted onto the shoulder and lost control of his motorcycle around 6:20 a.m., according to a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman.
Dunn, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery for massive head trauma and damage to other internal organs. CHP officials said he died in surgery a little more than two hours later.
The accident’s cause had not been determined Sunday.
