Police Seek Information in Man’s Shotgun Death

NORTH HILLS — A 32-year-old man stumbled into a doughnut shop Wednesday night, dying of several gunshot wounds.
The North Hills man, whose name was not be released pending notification of relatives, died shortly afterward at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
A doughnut-maker at Foster’s Donut shop at 8704 Woodley Ave. heard the door’s entry bell sound as he worked in the rear Wednesday night, a co-worker said, but saw no one in the front of the store. After the employee heard a voice call softly, he leaned over the counter and saw a man in a shirt covered with blood on the floor.
Devonshire Division Detective William Berndt said police had no suspects, no motive and no witnesses.
