Water: Tapping the Wrong Source
In your Westside Watch of Jan. 30, you had an article about the water problems in Beverly Hills in 1923. You mentioned that Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford were instrumental in keeping the water system in the city of Beverly Hills, rather than incorporating it with the city of Los Angeles.
You printed photographs of Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. accompanying the article. However, it was Douglas Fairbanks Sr. who was helpful in (resolving) that problem.
But I must say--the photograph of Douglas Fairbanks Jr. is indeed a handsome one!
