Gilbert R. Hess has been appointed a member of the Coastline Community College Foundation board of directors and will serve as chair of the board’s planned giving committee. Hess is a vice president in First Interstate Bank’s regional trust and private banking office in Newport Beach. The committee will give a series of seminars on estate planning strategies, investment options and trusts.
