Workman Suspended; 8 Knicks Fined

NEW YORK — Haywoode Workman of Indiana and eight New York Knicks were fined by the NBA on Saturday, and Workman also received a one-game suspension for Friday night’s altercation.
Workman was fined $5,000 and suspended for head-butting Greg Anthony, and Anthony was fined $2,500 for retaliating.
Fined $2,500 for leaving the bench were Charles Smith, Derek Harper, Rolando Blackman, Eric Anderson, Anthony Bonner, Corey Gaines and Herb Williams of New York.
