2 Men Fatally Shot During Argument

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Two men were shot to death Thursday night during an argument in the city’s downtown area, police said.
The victims, who had not been identified late Thursday, were shot about 10:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Orange Street, between Main and 3rd streets, Lt. Jeff Cope said.
“There was some kind of an altercation and a suspect shot the victims,” Cope said. “We don’t know what the altercation was about at this point.”
The victims were described as in their 20s. Both died at the scene.
The shooter fled and remained at large. Police said he also is in his 20s.
