In the Century League:

Canyon 3, El Modena 1--Troy Langley had 15 kills and 11 blocks, Matt Cohen added 42 assists and 12 blocks and Brent Nogle had 12 kills for Canyon, 15-7, 11-15, 15-6, 15-7. The Comanches improved to 8-0, 2-0.

Orange 3, Villa Park 1--Greg Lamonica had 11 kills for Villa Park (3-5, 0-2) in the loss. Teammate Robert Nguyen added 35 assists.

Calvary Chapel 3, La Mirada 0--Philip Schildts had 10 kills and Aaron Fountain added nine kills to lead Calvary Chapel, 15-3, 15-11, 15-10. Calvary Chapel is 6-0, 2-0.

San Clemente 3, Capistrano Valley 1--Gabe and Phinney Gardner each had 16 kills for fourth-ranked San Clemente (7-0, 3-0), which won, 15-11, 6-15, 15-10, 15-6.

El Toro 3, Mater Dei 0--The Chargers (7-1, 3-0), ranked No. 1 in Orange County, defeated visiting Mater Dei, 15-2, 15-3, 15-8.
